Company Profile
Bridgnorth Print Services was formed in June 2007 by Richard Stilwell in a small office in central Bridgnorth. It has a wide based clientele based mainly in and around Bridgnorth but clients are located as far afield as London, Harlow, Manchester, Newcastle-on-Tyne and Dublin. Richard Stilwell worked in the automotive manufacturing and component industry for over 30 years, working in design, programme management and sales and has over 10 years experience working with the Japanese, particularly Toyota and Honda.
Steeped in the philosophies of Dr W. Edwards Deming and striving for continual improvements the company has expanded many times to be a one stop print and design company that no job is too big or small for.
Our Ethos
A good example is the Toyota Motor Corporation that despite some recent hiccups is renowned not just for the quality of their cars but also for the efficiency of their manufacturing process. If you visit Toyota, in Japan, you will be was astounded that in their headquarters there is a picture of their founder, a picture of their current president and an even bigger picture of an American man called Dr W.Edwards Deming.
Many of the things talked about may at first sight seem not relevant but the whole philosophy of Continuous Improvement and Process Refinement can apply to every single little thing that you do. The management lessons of Deming are in direct contrast and opposition to what most so-called Gurus and management consultants preach. Management By Objectives is the only way that these people can see a company succeeding yet Deming inspired companies will tell you that management by objectives can be the single most destructive forces. Judging individuals performance without consideration of other factors such as quality, supplies, customer loyalty or availability of resources is fundamentally flawed.
